Invoicing
Never
forget to invoice a job again
The
Work in Progress (WIP) function of JobsPlus allows you to invoice
more efficiently by identifying jobs with items (parts, labour and
service) that have not yet been invoiced. You
can search for outstanding WIP by all clients or you can select a
particular client as shown below.
Creating
an invoice
Creating
an invoice is easy. When
creating an invoice you can:
· Choose
to invoice a different client to the one the job is for. This
is particularly useful in warranty situations
· Choose
a particular invoice template to use (see section on invoice
templates)
· Apply
retentions against the invoice. You
stipulate the percentage to be withheld and the amount of time to
withhold the monies
· View
the list of items recorded against the job but not yet invoiced
(as shown in the screen below)
· Create
multiple invoices for a job by choosing which items to include on
a particular invoice
· View
the quoted amount, the amount invoiced to date and the amount
remaining to be invoiced
· Limit
the total amount invoiced for a job to the quoted amount
irrespective of whether actual cost is higher or lower than the
quoted amount
Invoice
Templates
JobsPlus
has standard templates for Invoices, Job Cards, Quote Letters and
Purchase Orders. In
addition to these standard templates you can create customised
templates that can change the look of your documents. An unlimited number
of invoice templates can be created. Invoice
layouts can be anywhere from summary, full details, to anywhere in
between. For example,
you may have a standard invoice that only shows data at a summary
level, but if you do a particular type of work you may wish to
change the content of your invoice to show more detail. If
required, you can set the invoice template for a particular
client.
