Quotes   Quotes are an important part of running a business. Using JobsPlus, you can create quotes quickly and easily, and compare labour, materials and other associated details against the actual items used for the job.   The main quote screen is shown below:        What information can you enter?   You can enter limited or detailed information into a quote.  The quote section in JobsPlus allows you to:   ·     View open and closed quotes, quote status ·     Copy quotes partially or in their entirety ·     Win quotes which will convert a quote into a job thereby eliminating double entry of data ·     Enter customised checklists ·     Apply discounts to parts or labour or both ·     Override the calculated quote price to a price of your choosing ·     Enter details (eg address, contact details etc) for both the client and the site ·     Log key dates for the quote ·     Itemise all labour to be used – Labour can be listed by employee and is detailed by labour task, cost rate, sell rate, discount applied etc List all parts to be applied for the job – Details include part code, part description, buy price, sell price, quantity to be used and discount applied.  Parts can be listed for costing and invoicing purposes, or if you prefer, parts can be listed only for costing purposes.  This is advantageous where you do not wish to display all the individual component parts on the quote.
